1971 - 1974 VW Bug Ghia Rebuilt Engine (1600cc Long Block).  Fits all Bugs and Ghia with 12 Volt trans and dualport intake manifold.  Completely Rebuilt with all New Main, Rod and Cam bearings, reconditioned pistons and cylinders straight line honed with new rings and piston to cylinder wall clearance checked, complete valve job with new exhaust valves, new push-rod tubes and all new seals and gaskets (German) and New Oil Pressure switch (Hella).  Flywheel is installed as pictured with end play set-up and gland nut torqued.

This Engine comes with a 12-month / 12,000 mile Warranty.  Also comes with technical bulletins for start-up/break-in procedures and specifications about types of oil to be used for best longevity.  No Core Required!

Never a Core Charge – We take your core Long-Block back in any condition – and we even pay the return freight back to us…  At JLP we do not believe you should have to pay a core charge or pay to send it back.  As long as it is complete, just drop it in the crate that your replacement engine came in and dial the 800 number provided for pick-up within 2 weeks of delivery. We take care of the rest.
