1983.5 - 1985 VW Vanagon 1.9L Engine (Long Block).  Completely rebuilt with all new main, rod and cam bearings, pistons and cylinders are original used with cylinders honed and new rings, complete valve job and engine is reassembled with all new German head gaskets and seals, oil pressure switch is new (German) and comes complete with the rest of the gasket set for installation.

This engine comes with a 12-month / 12,000 mile Warranty. Also comes with technical bulletins for start-up/break-in procedures and specifications about types of oil to be used for long life.   Comes with Flywheel or Flexplate - Please specify automatic or stickshift for your installation and year of Vanagon.

Never a Core Charge – We take your core Long-Block back in any condition – and we even pay the return freight back to us…  At JLP we do not believe you should have to pay a core charge or pay to send it back.  As long as it is complete, just drop it in the crate that your replacement engine came in and dial the 800 number provided for pick-up within 2 weeks of delivery. We take care of the rest.
