1986 - 1991 VW Vanagon 2.1L Engine (Long Block).  Completely rebuilt with all new main, rod and cam bearings, pistons and cylinders are original used with cylinders honed and new rings, Complete valve job with all new valves, engine is reassembled with all new head gaskets and seals, oil pressure switches are new (German) and comes complete with the rest of the gasket set for installation.

This engine also is a direct bolt-in installation for 1983 - 1985 Vanagons with the Waterboxer Engine with 2 small modifications with the center air plenum and the oil filter attachment screw.  Please ask for Technical bulletins for installation instructions.

This engine comes with a 12-month / 12,000 mile Warranty. Also comes with technical bulletins for start-up/break-in procedures and specifications about types of oil to be used for long life.  Comes with Flywheel or Flexplate - Please specify automatic or stickshift for your installation and year of Vanagon.  No Core Required!
