This engine also is a direct bolt-in installation for 1983 - 1985 Vanagons with the Waterboxer Engine with 2 small modifications with the center air plenum and the oil filter attachment screw. Please ask for Technical bulliter for installation instructions...
This engine comes with a 12mo/12,000 mile warranty. Also comes with technical bullitens for start-up/break-in procedures and specifications about types of oil to be used for long life.;.
